SAFETY AND RESCUE AT SEA
The RIFA-PSM certification (Reaction and Intervention Facing Accidents in Spearfishing) is made up of 2 parts. One generalist on first aid actions equivalent to PSC1, the other specific dealing with rescue at sea, towing / hoisting out of the water, assessment, organization of crisis management, call for help, treatment of the victim and oxygen therapy.

A medical certificate of less than one year stipulating that there are no contraindications to the practice of underwater fishing is also required for non-licensed persons.
